One half want more food trucks

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 882 randomly selected Torontonians 18 years of age and older, one half say there aren't enough food trucks in Toronto (50%), while just one tenth think there are too many (8%) and one quarter thing the number is about right (25%).

Downtown relief line seen as highest transit priority

One half agree the highest transit priority for the city is the Downtown Relief Line (DRL - 48%). Just one quarter see the Scarborough subway as the higher priority (27%), while one fifth favour another project (18%) and few have no opinion (7%).

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 612 Mississauga voters, equal proportions say they will vote former MP and MPP Steve Mahoney (27%) or Councillor Bonnie Crombie (25%) for mayor if the Mississauga municipal election were held today.

PCs with solid lead over Liberals in Ontario

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 928 Ontario voters, almost 4-in-10 will vote PC if a provincial election were held today (38%), compared to just more than 3-in-10 who will vote Liberal (31%).

One half approve of beer sales in grocery and convenience stores

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 928 Ontarians 18 years of age and older, one half approve of the job The Beer Store does selling beer (52%), whereas just more than a quarter disapprove (28%). Disapproval is highest among the youngest (35%).

Liberals with commanding lead in Quebec

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 1251 decided Quebec voters on April 3, close to half will vote Liberal (44%), compared to just a quarter who will vote for the PQ (24%) or CAQ (23%).

PQ continues to slide in Quebec election

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 854 Quebec voters one week before the provincial election, 4-in-10 will vote Liberal (41%), compared to fewer than 3-in-10 who will vote Parti Quebecois (29%). One fifth will vote CAQ (19%), less than a tenth will vote QS (7%) and few will vote Green (2%), ON (1%) or for any other party (1%).

3-in-10 May Smoke Pot

3-in-10 said either that they had consumed marijuana in the past year (13%) or declined to provide an answer (17%), for a total of 3-in-10 (30%) who may be presumed to be active pot smokers.
