Half of Ontarians Now Say they Support the PCs

Toronto, February 17th - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 949 Ontario voters, half (49%) say they would support the PCs if an election were held today, an increase of 8 points in just a few weeks (Jan 25: 42%).

Familiarity with Pilot Close to Unchanged

Toronto, February 9th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 977 Toronto voters, two-thirds (TOP2: 68%) say they are familiar with the details of Toronto’s transit pilot project on King Street, with almost 4 in 10 (37%) saying they are very familiar. This is a similar proportion to when we last asked the same question (Nov 23: 73%).

The Majority of TTC Users Satisfied with the TTC, Overall

Toronto, February 9th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 977 Toronto voters, amongst those who have used the TTC in the past month, two-thirds (TOP3: 66%) say they are satisfied with the TTC, overall, but only 1 in 10 (669%) say they are very satisfied.

Tory’s Approval Up

Toronto, February 9th – In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 977 Toronto voters, more than half (58%) say they approve of the job John Tory is doing as mayor. Just over one-quarter (28%) say they disapprove, with one-sixth (14%) saying they do not know.

Support for Scheer’s Conservatives rises

Almost Half Say Smartphone Makers Not Doing Enough To Fight Addiction

Toronto, January 26th - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 1408 Canadian voters, almost half (BTM2: 45%) say they disagree that smartphone makers, such as Apple or Samsung for example, are doing enough to fight smartphone addiction, with almost a third (29%) saying they strongly disagree.

Majority Say They Pay Attention to Politics Between Elections

PC support remains solid in spite of allegations

In a random sampling of public opinion taken by The Forum Poll™ among 751 Ontario voters, more than 8 in 10 (82%) say they are aware of the sexual misconduct allegations against Patrick Brown. About one-sixth (14%) say they are not aware, while few (4%) say they do not know.
