Matt Brown with highest approval

TORONTO September 4th, 2014 - In a random sampling of public opinion taken by the Forum Poll™ among 737 London, Ontario voters, among the three quarters who are aware of him (74%), Matt Brown has approval from 7-in-10 (70%). There is almost universal awareness for Joe Swan (89%) but his approval is as low as one quarter (27%), Seven-in-ten know of Roger Caranci (70%), but his approval is just middling (41%). Fewer know of Paul Cheng (59%) and two thirds approve of him (65%). Arnon Kaplansky is known to few (32%), and his approval is very low (27%).

"Matt Brown's approval, at 70%, is dominating, especially given he's well-known. He has very little downside. Paul Cheng sports a very positive approval rating as well, but two thirds don't know him, so he's at a disadvantage. To be as well-known as Joe Swan, yet have such abysmal approval is a very difficult place to run a campaign from," said Forum Research President, Dr. Lorne Bozinoff.
